1 cup water
½ cup honey
3 fresh thyme sprigs

Make the thyme-infused honey syrup. Pro Tip: When entertaining, make this ahead of time. It can be made weeks in advance and stores in a glass container refrigerated.
1. In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, and thyme sprigs.
Heat over medium heat, stirring until the honey is dissolved.
Bring to a soft simmer, then remove from the heat and let the thyme steep for at least 15 minutes to infuse the flavor.
2. Strain the syrup into a jar and discard the thyme. The syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Make The Honey Bear Cocktail
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the bourbon, fresh lemon juice, and the prepared thyme-infused honey syrup.
