Two Bitch Spirits Ltd. is a family owned and operated liquor company headquartered in Eureka, Nevada. Founders Joe and Lauren Luby produce delicious bourbon products packaged under the playful brand name Two Bitch™. The Bitches are real and this is their story:
LOST
While Lauren was out of town for her bridal shower, Joe took the family dogs on a fishing trip with friends. Mocha Bean, Lauren’s dog of 10 years, ran into the desert sage brush and was lost from Joe’s sight. Joe and his friends spent all day searching for Mocha in the vast desert before making the dreaded call to Lauren. Heartbroken and panicked, Lauren rushed home to search the land where Mocha went missing. Months were spent searching, posting on social media and visiting shelters in the hope that Mocha would turn up. Lauren and Joe’s wedding happened as planned a few months later. Mocha was never found.
FOUND
During an online search for Mocha, Lauren discovered that two puppies were listed at a local shelter. The listing stated they had been found abandoned in the desert and turned into the shelter two days prior. Upon seeing them, Lauren did not entertain the idea of bringing only one girl home . She named the sister pups Miss Scarlett and Sage and brought them to their forever home. Little did anyone know what gifts ‘The Bitches’ would bring.
THE INVITATION
Joe and Lauren hold an annual whiskey party at their home bar nicknamed The Luby Saloon. It’s a longstanding tradition bringing friends together for whiskey and good times! Lauren designs a special invitation each year and with Joe’s help they came up with a fun and imaginative invitation to introduce the new puppies. The invitation was a fun bottle mock-up called "Two Bitch Bourbon." It was loved by all who saw it and Two Bitch Spirits Ltd. and Two Bitch™ Bourbon soon became reality.
